Education Opportunity Fund

Applicants must be confirmed members of St. Daniel's Lutheran Church and 25 years old or less. Scholarships are currently provided at $750 each.

Past recipients of the grant are not eligible to apply in subsequent years. Applicants must be attending or enrolled in a formal course of study in a graduate or undergraduate college or university, or a post high school vocational or technical school. Click for application pdf.

Persons enrolled in professional or trade schools are also eligible. Award money may be used toward the cost of tuition, books, supplies, equipment or meal tickets.

2009 Recipients
Six scholarships of $750.00 each to (l-r): Jonathan Kline, Kayla Zerbe, Colleen Shartle, Brittany Heffelfinger, Emily Livingston, and Christopher Hauer. The Educational Opportunity Fund provided four of the scholarships and the Isabel Becker Fund awarded two scholarships to Emily and Christopher for their significant contributions to church and community. Ron Leeper, member of the Educational Opportunity Fund Board presented each with the scholarship gift.
